Altruistic Complex - Bios - Kevin Evans

Kevin was a happy yet troubled youth. While he was fascinated by learning, especially things mechanical in nature, he struggled to fit into the standard scholastic system. He would pour over books and fervently ask questions, but once he understood a concept he couldn't be bothered to complete related homework choosing instead to find something NEW to learn. This lead him through a string of impressed teachers and terrible grades. Upon completion of primary school he found his spotty academic record kept him from pursuing his interests in advanced technical and mechanical studies. Finding himself poor and without direction he joined the army in a state of jaded disillusionment.

As luck would have it Vaughn King witnessed Kevin idly scribbling technical drawings in a mess hall. King was amazed at some of Kevin's concepts and he inquired as to why Kevin was in boot camp and why he hadn't published any of his findings. Kevin revealed that he didn't know he had anything worth "publishing" and furthermore that he wouldn't know how to even go about starting a process like that. Recognizing Kevin's savant genius, and being an iconoclast himself, King immediately requested Kevin's transfer to his newly formed Suggestion Project.

Thrilled by the opportunity to use his thoughts and charged with new energy, Kevin became instrumental in Suggestion's progress. Over the next 9 years he and King forged a fierce friendship through their shared loyalty to their oft-dismissed technology, bringing it past it's rocky infancy to it's current promising state. While their personalities mix like oil and water they share a bond like few others; Misunderstood and outcast by most, their only other close friend is Ayame.
